SDI signal analyzer

The TelePROBE SDI system provides for instrumental analysis of studio digital video and audio signals in SD/HD/3G/12G-SDI formats.
Depending on the form factor (mobile, rack-mounted 19” 1U, rack-mounted 19” 2U), the device can function as a mobile analyzer or can be installed in a technical workstation (mounting kits, OB trucks, quality control workstations, etc.) or for simultaneous analysis of a large number of signals during the installation, for example, as part of a switch box.

SDI signal monitoring

In addition to signal analysis, the TelePROBE SDI system also allows monitoring the quality of sources. The system provides for emergency detection (including image analysis, audio analysis, and analysis of various types of metadata), which expands the capabilities of technical posts in studios. 

Signal visualization

The TelePROBE SDI system can provide for both local and remote visual monitoring of signal sources. The system allows creating a multi-screen with a user-defined configuration from sources (separate licenses), in individual windows of which, in addition to video image/audio indicators, the interface of the SDI analyzer of the required source can also be displayed.
The resulting multi-screen can be displayed both locally on one or more video monitors, or broadcast over a service/common IP network to ensure remote control of broadcast. Such remote interface allows remote engineers to be provided with everything they need, which increases the speed of resolving technical issues that arise. 

Video logging

Controlled sources may be recorded, which allows ensuring the recording of the situation and its subsequent comprehensive analysis. The TelePROBE SDI can perform automatic loop “police” recording (requires a separate license) with a possibility to "burn" specified marks over the image.

Support of wide range of modern video/audio streams

The TelePROBE SDI system can also perform a simultaneous analysis of a wide range of modern professional video and audio streams transmitted over the IP network with SDI signals, including SDI over IP (SMPTE ST 2022-6/7, ST 2110, NDI, SRT, RTMP), AES67 (LiveWire, Dante), MPEG-TS over IP (IP Multicast) (separate licenses). 

In-depth Data Mining

Due to integrated SDI data analyzers, TelePROBE SDI allows not only detecting emergency events and informing on their occurrence on a timely basis, but also helps engineers identify causes of their occurrence thus ensuring rapid troubleshooting.
The system performs collection and retention of measured parameters and allows analyzing changes in time, using both tabular and graphical data representation.
Built-in SDI packet pattern-based capturing tools allow configuring automatic search and grabbing of the SDI frame required for analysis, which significantly simplifies the diagnosis of rarely transmitted data.

WEB interface

New WEB user interface allows ensuring control over broadcasting from any user device in the service IP network and, if necessary, in the Internet. Regular user Internet connection (supported through FireWall, NAT, etc.) is enough for efficient operation of TelePROBE.

Scaling and modernization

Based on the possibility to use TelePROBE SDI analyzers of various form factors and functions, users may optimize configuration and capabilities of the system as the current objectives change.
The functionality and capacity of the TelePROBE system can be extended through hardware modernization (installing additional interface cards) and by installing additional functional software licenses.
When modernizing the control box, there is no need to replace the analyzer; it is sufficient to upgrade it to support the new type of source. Hybrid configurations are possible for the transition period.
